Uninstall Chrome on Mac without deleting other Google apps
Quit Chrome, then move it to the Trash. Whether you can delete a profile is a separate choice, and the longer article already walks through passwords and bookmarks. This page is the shorter catalog note: what to remove, and which Google files to leave.
Remove the app
Google’s Mac instructions are to quit Chrome and drag it from Applications to the Trash. Deleting profile information is optional, and it comes after the app is gone.
Read Remove Chrome without losing saved passwords before you delete a profile. Being signed in does not mean the local copy is safe to remove.
Leave shared Google files alone
Do not delete ~/Library/Application Support/Google. That is the parent folder for Chrome and for other Google apps. Google’s updater is shared the same way. Mole’s uninstall review does not list that parent folder, or GoogleSoftwareUpdate, as a Chrome leftover. If you still use Google Drive or another Google app, leaving the updater installed is the expected result.
What this test covered
The recorded check inspected an existing Chrome installation. It did not uninstall Chrome, and it did not treat Google’s updater as a file to remove. A review list cannot tell you which Chrome profile is unused. Check that in Chrome first.
