No. Mole for Mac and Mole for Windows are sold separately, each a one-time $19, and a Windows license covers two PCs. Bought the wrong one? Any purchase can be refunded in full within 14 days. If you've bought Mole before, enter MOLEAGAIN at checkout by December 31, 2026 and it's $10.
Should I download x64 or Arm64?
Most PCs run Intel or AMD processors and take the regular download. PCs with Arm processors, such as Snapdragon, need the Arm64 version. Settings › System › About shows the system type if you are not sure.
What if Windows shows a blue warning when I open the installer?
The installer is signed, but a new signature takes a while to build reputation with Microsoft, and SmartScreen may stop it until then. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Does Mole need administrator rights?
Not to install or for everyday use, since Mole installs for your account. Tasks such as cleaning system temp files or uninstalling an app installed for all users ask for one administrator prompt.
Does Mole upload my scan results?
No. Scanning, cleaning and uninstalling happen on your PC, and file names and results stay there. Mole goes online only to activate a license, list its devices from mole.fit in the license card, check for its own updates, check app updates through winget, and show your public IP in Status.
