How to uninstall TablePro on Mac
Save wanted SQL and connection information before removing TablePro. The official site describes a database client; local client data and the databases you connect to are separate. This guide covers the official Mac app, not deletion of a database server.
Quit and remove the app
Finish or cancel active queries and resolve pending edits, then quit TablePro with Cmd + Q. Move TablePro.app to the Trash. Keep exported data, SQL files and independently installed database servers.
Review local database-client data
~/Library/Application Support/TableProheld local client data in the test. Copy wanted connection or history data before reviewing the parent.~/Library/Preferences/com.TablePro.plistand~/Library/HTTPStorages/com.TableProwere observed; the cask also names~/Library/Caches/com.TablePro.- Saved SQL, database files and server backups stored elsewhere are not generic client caches. Removing app files does not provide a database backup or revoke server credentials.
After finishing queries, saving wanted SQL and quitting TablePro, open each chosen exact path above with Finder’s Shift + Command + G. Copy wanted connection or history data outside the support folder before moving the chosen files or folders to the Trash. Keep exported data, external SQL files, database servers and shared Library parent folders.
Check the result
pgrep -ifl TablePro
ls -ld /Applications/TablePro.app "$HOME/Library/Application Support/TablePro" "$HOME/Library/Preferences/com.TablePro.plist"
No process output means this name was not found, not that every helper has gone. Check any match against the app’s actual executable path. A missing-path error from ls means only that location is absent; permission errors leave its state unknown. A surviving folder can be intentional data to keep.
If you installed it with Homebrew
Ordinary cask uninstall asks TablePro to quit. Zap includes the whole TablePro support parent, exact caches, HTTP storage, preferences and an app-specific recent-document pattern.
To uninstall without zap, use:
brew uninstall --cask tablepro
Mole checks Homebrew's full removal list and skips --zap when it reaches unchecked data, shared files or anything it cannot verify. It still removes the leftovers you selected. A direct brew uninstall --cask --zap tablepro runs Homebrew’s full zap list without consulting Mole’s checkboxes.
What Mole lists
Mole selects the app, exact preferences and attributable cache/HTTP rows by default. The TablePro display-name support parent is unchecked with “Remove data and settings with apps” off; enabling it can also select this eligible reviewed row. Uncheck it if you want to retain local connection or history data. Connected database servers and independently saved SQL are not blanket client-uninstall targets.
What this test covered
On September 25, 2026, TablePro 0.75.0 was copied from the official Mac package and tested with a development build of Mole. The recorded four remnant rows and app were removed. Populated connections, saved-query recovery and removal or modification of a database server were not tested.
