Uninstall 腾讯 Lemon on Mac

Finish any Tencent Lemon scan and note settings you want to reuse before uninstalling the cleaner itself. The September 19, 2026 record covers the app copied from the official package.

Quit and remove the app

Quit Lemon and its monitor, then move Tencent Lemon.app to Trash. Review Login Items & Extensions for a remaining Lemon item without editing macOS background-task databases. The official page has more product information.

Review the app’s data

The cask lists ~/Library/Caches/com.tencent.Lemon, LemonMonitor cache, logs and update preferences. These are Lemon-specific state, not a reason to delete another Tencent app or a Tencent-wide folder.

If you installed it with Homebrew

The Homebrew cask has its own --zap list. brew uninstall --cask tencent-lemon removes the cask without that list; brew uninstall --cask --zap tencent-lemon also acts on its listed data without consulting Mole’s checkboxes. The cask includes monitor data, so check whether its process has stopped first. Mole also suppresses zap if its list would cross an unchecked, shared, unknown, or unsupported path; selected remnants still follow Mole’s own deletion path.

Check the result

These commands inspect the running process and one relevant location. They do not remove anything:

pgrep -il "Lemon"
ls -ld "$HOME/Library/Caches/com.tencent.Lemon"

No pgrep match means no process with that name is running; a match needs identification before quitting anything. A listed path still exists, while an ls “No such file” error means only that exact path is absent. A permission error is inconclusive.

What Mole lists

Mole selects exact Lemon bundle-ID cache and preference rows by default when ownership is clear. A monitor or launch item is evaluated as its own component; other Tencent data is outside this uninstall.

What this test covered

The September 19, 2026 official-package test showed a com.tencent.Lemon.trash Launch Agent before removal and not afterward. It does not establish behavior for another Tencent cleaner.
