Uninstall Steam on Mac without deleting games

Quit Steam and move it from Applications to the Trash. Removing the client does not delete your Steam account.

What Mole lists

Mole lists ~/Library/Application Support/Steam and does not preselect it, because that folder is the app’s data, including SteamApps. Cache folders that match the name Steam can still be included in the plan you review. Uncheck the support folder, or move SteamApps out and open a game you care about, before that folder goes to the Trash.

Libraries you added on another disk stay where you put them. This check used the official steam.dmg for com.valvesoftware.steam.
