How to uninstall QSpace Pro on Mac
Finish file operations and save wanted Stash Shelf content before uninstalling QSpace Pro. Keep files you browse, remote files and sync destinations separate from app settings. This guide covers the official QSpace Pro app and Homebrew cask qspace-pro, not the App Store QSpace edition.
Restore Finder choices and quit
Before removing the app, open Settings › Open Mode and undo any choices you made for Reveal in Finder or QSpace Desktop. The official Finder-replacement FAQ documents these integrations and a restart for the Reveal in Finder change. Confirm Finder opens wanted folders before continuing; do not rebuild LaunchServices to remove this app.
The Stash Shelf guide describes collecting local items and web images. Copy wanted content to a normal folder and open it before resetting support or extension data. Complete wanted transfers, quit QSpace Pro with Cmd + Q, then move QSpace Pro.app from Applications to Trash.
Keep user files and review app data
After checking your saved shelf files, quitting QSpace Pro and backing up wanted settings, press Shift + Command + G in Finder to open the support, preferences and extension paths below. Move only the QSpace Pro items you choose to remove to Trash. Keep shared or unconfirmed group data, and inspect ~/QSpace for user files before deciding to remove that folder; leave parent folders and remote files intact.
| Location | Keep or remove |
|---|---|
| ~/Library/Application Support/com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro | App support data. Back up wanted settings and contents before removal. |
| ~/Library/Preferences/com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro.plist | App preferences. Keep if needed for a reinstall. |
| ~/Library/Containers/com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro.FinderExtension | Finder extension container observed in the test. |
| ~/Library/Containers/com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro.StashShelfShareExtension | Stash Shelf Share container. Save wanted contents first. |
| ~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro.shared | Group data observed in the test. Keep shared or unconfirmed data. |
| ~/QSpace | A user folder named by the cask. Inspect its files and copy anything wanted before considering removal. |
The current cask also lists app caches, HTTP storage and cookies, saved state, WebKit data, and ~/Library/Application Scripts/com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro.StashShelfShareExtension. It does not turn your opened folders or remote servers into disposable app data. Removing the app does not delete a cloud account or cancel its subscription.
Check the result
pgrep -ifl 'QSpace Pro'
ls -ld '/Applications/QSpace Pro.app' "$HOME/Library/Application Support/com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro" "$HOME/Library/Containers/com.jinghaoshe.qspace.pro.StashShelfShareExtension" "$HOME/QSpace"
No process output means no matching name is running. Printed paths remain, missing-path errors mean absence, and permission errors leave the result unknown. Confirm Finder behavior and saved shelf files separately; a remaining user folder is not proof the app is still installed.
If you installed it with Homebrew
brew uninstall --cask qspace-pro
The ordinary cask uninstall removes the app without zap. Direct brew uninstall --cask --zap qspace-pro removes the cask's complete list above, including support data, the Share container and scripts, and ~/QSpace, regardless of Mole's checkboxes.
Mole skips --zap for this cask because its ~/QSpace target is outside the locations in the uninstall review. It still removes the leftovers you selected. The cask naming ~/QSpace does not mean Mole lists that folder.
What Mole lists
Exact bundle-owned support data, preferences, caches and its own bundle-prefixed extension containers and scripts are selected by default when present. Back up or uncheck data you want to retain. Group data keeps its ownership and individual-review boundaries. Enabling Remove data and settings with apps can preselect eligible reviewed app data, but does not override shared-group protection. Files in your open panes and remote locations are not authorized for removal by these app-data rows.
What this test covered
QSpace Pro 6.3.2 was copied from the official package into Applications and removed on September 21, 2026, without a Homebrew receipt or granting Accessibility. The app, its bundle-owned support data and scripts went to Trash. Finder and Share containers returned permission errors, and the group container was skipped as protected. Finder replacement, shelf recovery, server transfers, the App Store edition and a Homebrew installation were not verified.
