How to uninstall AliWorkBench (千牛) on Mac
Save wanted merchant messages, attachments and exported shop work before removing AliWorkBench (千牛). The official site identifies it as the Taobao/Tmall merchant workbench. Finish shop work and quit the client; removing the Mac app is separate from closing the shop or account.
Remove the recorded client
Move the actual app from Applications to the Trash after checking saved work. The recorded filename was AliWorkBench.app; the current cask uses Aliworkbench.app, so check the installed spelling in Finder. Keep account access and documents stored elsewhere.
For a Homebrew installation, the current aliworkbench cask supports:
brew uninstall --cask aliworkbench
Ordinary removal removes the app. Zap additionally targets Aliworkbench support, exact cache/preference/state/WebKit and matching HTTP storage. Direct zap ignores Mole selections, so verify any wanted local data before using it. The tested older app was not updated during the check.
ls -ld "/Applications/AliWorkBench.app"
ls -ld "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Aliworkbench"
Printed paths remain. Missing-path errors apply only to those locations; permission errors leave them unknown. These checks do not verify shop data, account cancellation or every differently named client copy.
What Mole lists
The selected app is checked by default. Exact identifier leaves can be checked when present and unprotected, while display-name support needs review and is unchecked by default. Remove data and settings with apps is off by default and may include eligible reviewed data when enabled. No data rows were recorded in this review; that does not establish that every installation is empty.
What this test covered
The official Intel client was removed with source-built Mole on October 3, 2026. It was not launched in this run and Rosetta was not installed for the check; only the app was selected and removed. Merchant workflows, populated local-data recovery and Homebrew-managed uninstall were not tested.
