How to uninstall PommeToys on Mac

Keep wanted PommeToys settings before removal, and stop active utility tasks before quitting the menu-bar app. Copy wanted contents from the observed ~/Library/Application Support/PommeToys after quitting and verify the copy before resetting it.

Remove the utility

Following Apple's app-removal guidance, move PommeToys.app from Applications to the Trash after checking saved settings. Keep other window and mouse utilities separately. This record does not establish a license-seat release or a current vendor menu for it.

Printed paths remain. Missing-path errors apply only to these locations; permission errors leave them unknown. These checks do not verify permission revocation, license-seat release or restoration of every setting.

What Mole lists

The selected app and exact identifier preferences/cache/HTTP leaves can be checked when present and unprotected. The display-name support folder needs review and is unchecked by default. Remove data and settings with apps is off by default; eligible reviewed data may be included when enabled, while shared settings and other apps remain separate.

What this test covered

The official app and selected local data were removed with source-built Mole on October 3, 2026. The selected original paths were absent afterward. Populated setting recovery, license changes and permission revocation were not tested.
