How to uninstall iFLYREC on Mac
Finish active recordings or transcription jobs and save wanted audio and transcripts before removing iFLYREC (讯飞听见). This guide covers the tested Mac App Store app. Developer’s listing
The developer describes recording/transcription and access across the desktop, mobile app and web. Copy wanted local recordings and transcripts to a separate checked backup; if you also use the service on another device, verify the material there before removing local data. Removing this app does not delete your online account.
Quit and review local data
Quit the app after saving your work. Check Activity Monitor for this app before proceeding if it stays running; do not force-quit an unsaved recording. Open ~/Library/Containers/com.electron.iflyrecclient using Finder’s Go › Go to Folder and copy wanted local contents while the app is closed. The separate ~/Library/Group Containers/66927FHK7D.com.electron.iflyrecclient and ~/Library/Application Scripts/66927FHK7D.com.electron.iflyrecclient require individual ownership review; keep them if their contents or other users are unclear. After checking the backup, move 讯飞听见.app from Applications to the Trash.
Check the result
ls -ld "/Applications/讯飞听见.app"
ls -ld "$HOME/Library/Containers/com.electron.iflyrecclient" "$HOME/Library/Group Containers/66927FHK7D.com.electron.iflyrecclient"
Printed paths remain. No such file or directory means that exact item is absent; permission errors leave it unknown. A retained group does not mean the app bundle remains. These commands do not verify the online account or recovery of your work.
What Mole lists
The exact main container and main scripts are selected by default when present and unprotected; uncheck data you need. The team-prefixed group store and group scripts are reviewed and unchecked by default, including with the app-data option enabled. Removal still needs individual selection and ownership checks. Remove data and settings with apps is off by default; other eligible reviewed data can be included when enabled, while shared and protected items retain their boundaries.
What this test covered
The Mac App Store app was removed on September 21, 2026. It initially stayed running and was removed after the app process was terminated; this is not evidence that an unsaved recording was preserved. A September 26 repeat with a source-built Mole removed the app and selected main rows, while its group paths were retained by the ownership guard. No recording, transcription or cloud recovery was tested.
