How to uninstall Filmora on Mac
Before removing Filmora, save each project and copy its project file plus linked source video, audio and image files to a place you control. Open a copy and check that the media relinks correctly. Exported videos are separate from editable projects; retaining only the rendered video does not preserve the editing timeline.
The recorded test used the official Mac package.
Remove the app
The vendor’s Mac guide directs users to move the Filmora app from Applications to Trash. Quit Filmora first, then move Wondershare Filmora Mac.app. Leave project and media folders in Documents, Movies or external storage alone. Do not remove the shared Wondershare parent: other products may use it.
Review local data
The path below was observed in the recorded test. In Finder, use Go › Go to Folder to inspect it. Do not remove its parent directory or another product’s data.

The tested package uses bundle ID com.wondershare.filmoramacos. Review only files that actually appear on this Mac. A missing path needs no cleanup.
Check what remains
Run these read-only commands after quitting the app:

ls -d "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Wondershare Filmora Mac"
No process output means there is no matching process running now; it does not prove every helper is gone. A listed process needs its owner checked. If ls prints the path, that item remains and needs review. “No such file or directory” means this path is absent; a permission error means its state was not established.
What Mole lists
Mole lists the Filmora display-name support folder as a review row, not selected by default. Exact bundle-ID caches and crash reports can be selected when found. The application’s first launch crashed in the test, so do not extrapolate from that folder to a used installation.
What this test covered
The official DMG package was installed on September 20, 2026. Gatekeeper rejected the unsigned app; first launch wrote support files and then crashed. With review rows selected, the 119 MB support folder and three crash reports went to Trash. No successful editing session or project was tested.
