How to uninstall Calendar 366 on Mac

Save Calendar 366 settings you want to reuse and verify wanted events and tasks in their underlying calendar account before resetting local data. The vendor’s site lists system and cloud-calendar integrations. Keep Apple Calendar and Reminders databases, and do not delete an event merely to remove this app. This guide covers the tested Mac App Store edition, not Calendar 366 II.

    Quit and remove Calendar 366

Finish edits and quit the main and menu-bar app. Copy wanted local contents from the verified paths below using Finder’s Go › Go to Folder; check the backup before choosing to reset them.

    • ~/Library/Containers/com.nspektor.Calendar366.3
    • ~/Library/Containers/com.nspektor.Calendar366.3.Mini
    • ~/Library/Containers/com.nspektor.Calendar366.3.Share
    • ~/Library/Containers/com.nspektor.Calendar366.3.Widgets

Then move Calendar 366.app from Applications to the Trash. The observed group store ~/Library/Group Containers/346J24NQNV.com.nspektor.Calendar366.3 and group scripts ~/Library/Application Scripts/346J24NQNV.com.nspektor.Calendar366.3 need separate ownership review and a checked backup; a blocked group should be kept.

If you installed it with Homebrew

The current cask is the older, separate Calendar 366 II edition, managing Calendar 366 II.app:

    brew uninstall --cask calendar-366

It has no separate quit stanza; quit II first. Zap additionally targets ~/Library/Application Scripts/com.nspektor.macos.Calendar-366-II-Mini, ~/Library/Application Support/Calendar 366 II, ~/Library/Caches/com.nspektor.macos.Calendar-366-II and ~/Library/Preferences/com.nspektor.macos.Calendar-366-II.plist. These are not the tested edition’s containers. Direct brew uninstall --cask --zap calendar-366 applies its whole list independently of Mole’s checkboxes. Mole uses zap only when the complete scope passes selection and shared-data checks, otherwise selected remnants use its own removal flow. Keep the no-zap command when retaining II settings.

    Check the result

    ls -ld "/Applications/Calendar 366.app"
    ls -ld "$HOME/Library/Containers/com.nspektor.Calendar366.3" "$HOME/Library/Group Containers/346J24NQNV.com.nspektor.Calendar366.3"

Printed paths remain. A missing-path error concerns only that exact item; permission errors leave it unknown. A retained group is separate from the app bundle. These commands do not establish the contents of your calendar accounts or a Calendar 366 II copy.

    What Mole lists

The main container and confirmed bundled Mini, Share and Widgets containers are selected by default when present and unprotected. Uncheck settings you need. The team-prefixed group store and group scripts listed above are reviewed and unchecked by default, including when the app-data option is enabled. Group removal still requires individual selection and ownership checks; a refusal keeps the data. Remove data and settings with apps is off by default; opting in includes eligible reviewed data, while shared and protected items keep their boundaries.

    What this test covered

The Mac App Store app was removed on September 21, 2026, initially retaining a denied main container and unchecked extension data. A September 26 repeat with a source-built Mole removed the app and selected main and extension rows. Its group store and scripts remained when the ownership guard saw an inventory change. No personal calendars, task recovery or Homebrew Calendar 366 II uninstall was tested.

If Mac apps leave files behind after uninstalling, try Mole. I've personally tested and inspected 799 Mac apps.
