How to uninstall AliWangwang (阿里旺旺) on Mac
Save wanted AliWangwang (阿里旺旺) conversations and attachments before removing the Mac client. This is the Taobao/Tmall client identified by the official Homebrew cask, not an overseas TradeManager edition. Quit the app before copying any wanted local support contents.
Remove the Mac client
Move AliWangwang.app from Applications to the Trash after checking saved work. Keep the shopping account and separately stored attachments. For Homebrew:
brew uninstall --cask aliwangwang
Ordinary removal removes the app. Zap additionally targets Application Support/AliWangwang, exact cache, HTTP storage and cookies, preference, saved state and WebKit leaves. Direct --zap ignores Mole selections, so verify needed client-data copies first. The recorded test did not exercise populated chat history.
ls -ld "/Applications/AliWangwang.app"
ls -ld "$HOME/Library/Application Support/AliWangwang"
Printed paths remain. Missing-path errors apply only to these locations; permission errors leave them unknown. These checks do not verify account deletion or complete conversation recovery.
What Mole lists
The selected app is checked by default. Exact identifier leaves can normally be checked when present and unprotected, while display-name support requires review and is unchecked by default. Remove data and settings with apps is off by default and may include eligible reviewed data when enabled. No data rows were present in this recorded review; that does not establish that every user's installation has no data.
What this test covered
The maintainer-provided official Intel Mac app was removed with source-built Mole on October 3, 2026. It was not launched in this run, and Rosetta was not installed for the check. Only the app was selected and removed. Earlier user activity is unknown; chat features, populated data recovery, Status and Homebrew-managed uninstall were not tested.
