How to uninstall AirBasketball on Mac

Record game settings and any progress you want to retain before removing AirBasketball. Developer’s listing

The recorded Mac bundle is named 空气投篮.app. Keep copies on iPhone and Apple Watch separate; removing the Mac app does not establish their removal or recovery.

Quit and remove the Mac app

Quit AirBasketball from its own menu. Open ~/Library/Containers/com.studios66.airshot in Finder’s Go › Go to Folder, copy wanted local contents and check the backup before resetting it. Then move 空气投篮.app from Applications to the Trash.

Check the result

Printed paths remain; No such file or directory means that exact item is absent, while permission errors leave it unknown. A retained container is expected when keeping settings; this does not verify independent devices or system preferences.

What Mole lists

The main container ~/Library/Containers/com.studios66.airshot is selected by default when present and unprotected. Uncheck it to keep local settings. Remove data and settings with apps is off by default; enabling it also selects eligible reviewed data, while shared and protected data keeps its boundaries.

What this test covered

The Mac App Store app was removed on September 21, 2026. Its container initially remained after a system denial. A September 26 repeat with a source-built Mole removed the app and selected local rows. This did not test gameplay, watch integration or progress recovery.
