How to uninstall Yuque on Windows
This guide covers the official Yuque 4.2.4 x64 installer in the current user's scope. Confirm that the documents you need are synced or saved elsewhere before uninstalling; this test did not sign in, edit documents or verify restoration.
Quit and uninstall Yuque
Close Yuque, then uninstall it from Windows Settings. Do not replace uninstalling with deleting its program folder.
What Mole lists
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\yuque-desktop was the program folder in this test. Update downloads in %LOCALAPPDATA%\yuque-desktop-updater and usage records are handled through the review. The whole %APPDATA%\yuque-desktop data folder needs review and starts unchecked; leave it unchecked to keep local data.
Check the result
Test-Path "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\Programs\yuque-desktop"
Test-Path "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\yuque-desktop-updater"
Test-Path "$env:APPDATA\yuque-desktop"
True means this query found the location; False means it did not. Permission or query errors leave the result unverified. This test also selected the review data. After one normal user-scope uninstall, independent checks found the exact registration, program and selected paths absent, with no owned processes in either the user or SYSTEM sample.
What this test covered
Tested on 7 October 2026 in a Windows 11 ARM64 VM with a source-built Mole. First launch, the native icon, size, Status, Startup, Updates and uninstall review were observed without signing in or creating documents. The update provider listed no Yuque update, which does not prove this was the latest version. Document sync, retention, restoration, external uninstall detection, a real upgrade and the downloadable Mole package were not tested.
