How to uninstall WeMod on Windows

This guide covers WeMod for Windows. During this test, its first launch updated the same uninstall registration and program folder to Wand 12.60.0. Both names represent one app here. Back up the game-related configuration you want to keep before uninstalling; this test did not sign in or run a game.

Uninstall the app

Find Wand or WeMod in Settings > Apps > Installed apps and invoke its bundled uninstaller. The measured program root remained %LOCALAPPDATA%\WeMod.

Absence of this exact uninstall key indicates that its registration is gone. Permission or query errors leave that unknown. False from Test-Path means only that the named path is absent; it does not prove that games, saves or trainer settings were deleted.

What Mole lists

The program folder, the app's shortcuts on the desktop and under %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs, its exact wemod protocol and usage records are selected by default. %LOCALAPPDATA%\Wand, %APPDATA%\Wand and %APPDATA%\WeMod are data folders listed for review and start unchecked. The measured log subfolder appears separately.

data for review folders can be selected by the app's Remove data bulk action; this test did not verify retention of real game configuration. These client folders do not represent game installations, game saves or another tool's content and do not authorize removal of game data.

What this test covered

Tested on October 4, 2026, in a Windows 11 ARM64 VM with a Mole development build. WeMod 11.5.0 was originally installed through winget; by uninstall time it had updated to Wand 12.60.0. Sign-in, real games, settings recovery, other installation channels, external-uninstall detection and the released download were not verified.
