Data and settings

%APPDATA%\Tick_Tick |
Inspect contents; keep or back up local data |
Remove with the vendor uninstaller
Find the app in Settings › Apps › Installed apps and uninstall it. For the measured winget installation, you can also run the command below.
winget uninstall --id Appest.TickTick --exact
Check the result
Get-Process -Name 'TickTick' -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
winget list --id Appest.TickTick --exact
Test-Path "$env:APPDATA\Tick_Tick"
No process output means no matching process was observed. A completed winget query with no match means the package is no longer listed; an error does not prove removal. Test-Path returns True if the data folder remains and False if that path is absent. True is expected when retaining data.
What Mole lists
The program folder, shortcuts, app-owned Startup-folder shortcut and registrations pointing at this program are selected; %APPDATA%\Tick_Tick is unchecked. The startup switch was tested On, Off, On and restored. HKCU\Software\Tick still contained UId; ownership was not sufficiently established, so it was retained rather than treated as an empty key.
What this test covered
Removal used Inno Setup.
Recorded in source tests and retests on Windows 11 ARM64 on 2026-10-03 and 2026-10-04. The released download, account sign-in, synced data and other installation channels were not verified. Delayed external-uninstall controls are sampled separately.
