How to uninstall Radmin VPN on Windows
Keep the network names and connection details you need before removing Radmin VPN. Radmin remote-control software is a different product and should not be removed just because the names overlap.
Save your data and quit
Disconnect from VPN networks and close the application. If remote access depends on this connection, arrange an alternative first. Use the registered uninstaller for the VPN and let it manage its own service and adapter; leave unrelated Windows network rules alone.
Uninstall the tested package
In Windows 11, open Settings › Apps › Installed apps, find Radmin VPN, and choose Uninstall. In Windows 10, use Settings › Apps › Apps & features. Keep the installed program folder intact until its uninstaller finishes. If this was the winget package, first confirm its exact identity:
winget list --id Famatech.RadminVPN --exact
If the successful query shows the intended installation, remove that package:
winget uninstall --id Famatech.RadminVPN --exact
This follows the package’s registered removal method; portable packages use their package-manager removal instead. An error or a missing winget match is not proof that the app is absent: check the Windows app list and the original installation method. Follow any vendor confirmation or restart request after saving other work. See Microsoft’s uninstall command documentation.
Data and components to check
The following locations or components need separate decisions. A remaining folder is not automatically disposable.
| Location or component | What to keep or check |
|---|---|
| Radmin VPN network configuration | Keep the information needed to rejoin authorized networks. Do not expose network passwords in a public report. |
| Windows network rules and shared system keys | The recorded test retained these instead of assuming every nearby entry belonged to the VPN. |
See Radmin VPN’s official documentation.
Check the outcome
winget list --id Famatech.RadminVPN --exact
A successful package query with no matching row means that package registration was not found. A matching row means it still exists; an error leaves the result unknown. Keep deliberately retained data. Check Task Manager for a process whose executable belongs to this installation, and distinguish another version or a separate companion app before acting.
What Mole lists
The test removed the owned review targets or found them already absent. Shared SYSTEM-user keys, machine settings and system network rules were retained. A denied registry read did not expand the deletion scope.
What this test covered
Radmin VPN 2.1.4951.1 was tested on an x64 PC using an x86 installer wrapper with a machine-wide MSI payload. Program files, checked processes and its service were absent afterwards. VPN reconnection and an actual upgrade were not verified.
These results are from a development build of Mole. Other released builds were not individually tested.
