How to uninstall Heybox Accelerator on Windows
Heybox Accelerator (小黑盒加速器) keeps your sign-in and membership on Heybox's servers, so there is little on this PC to save; its local profile holds the app's sign-in state and settings. Stop any active acceleration and close the games it was accelerating before you remove it. This guide covers Heybox Accelerator installed machine-wide from the Qingfeng.HeyboxAccelerator winget package.
Quit Heybox Accelerator first
Stop acceleration, then quit the app from its tray icon. It asks for administrator access every time it starts and runs several processes, so check Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) for anything from Program Files (x86)\Qingfeng\HeyboxAccelerator still listed before you uninstall.
Remove the app with its own uninstaller
Go to Settings › Apps › Installed apps, find 小黑盒加速器, and choose Uninstall, or run:
winget uninstall --id Qingfeng.HeyboxAccelerator
The uninstaller copies itself to a temporary folder and opens its own window: click 卸载 (Uninstall), wait, then click 完成 (Finish). It removes the program files and the desktop and Start Menu shortcuts.
Where the data lives
| Location | What it holds | What to do |
|---|---|---|
%APPDATA%\heybox-acc-electron |
The app's profile: sign-in state, settings and caches | Remove it for a clean start; keep it if you are reinstalling soon |
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Qingfeng\HeyboxAcc |
Small settings key | Safe to remove if you are not reinstalling |
%USERPROFILE%\.heyboxacc.conf |
A small configuration file | Safe to remove |
%APPDATA%\heybox_acc_go.log and %APPDATA%\heyboxbrowser.exe.log |
Log files | Safe to remove |
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Qingfeng\HeyboxAccelerator |
The program folder, emptied by the uninstaller | Empty; remove it yourself if you like, which needs administrator access |
The Qingfeng folder in the Start Menu |
An empty Start Menu folder | Empty; remove it if you like |
Check the result
Run these read-only commands after the uninstall finishes:
winget list --id Qingfeng.HeyboxAccelerator
Test-Path "$env:APPDATA\heybox-acc-electron"
Test-Path "HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Qingfeng\HeyboxAcc"
Test-Path "$env:USERPROFILE\.heyboxacc.conf"
Get-ChildItem "${env:ProgramFiles(x86)}\Qingfeng\HeyboxAccelerator" -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
- A completed
winget listquery with no match means the package record is gone; a matching row means the uninstall did not finish. Test-PathreturningTruefor the profile or the settings key means they are still there, which is expected unless you removed them yourself.Test-PathreturningTruefor.heyboxacc.confmeans the configuration file is still in your user folder.Get-ChildItemreturning nothing cannot distinguish an empty, absent or unreadable program folder; listed files mean the uninstall did not finish.
If you installed it with winget
winget uninstall runs the same uninstaller Settings › Apps uses, with the same window to click through; it does not touch %APPDATA%\heybox-acc-electron or the settings key.
Account and membership
Uninstalling does not cancel an accelerator membership; it stays with your Heybox account.
What Mole lists
For Heybox Accelerator installed machine-wide from winget:
- The desktop and Start Menu shortcuts are selected by default; in this test the uninstaller had already deleted them.
%APPDATA%\heybox-acc-electronis listed but not selected, since it holds your sign-in state and settings.HKCU\SOFTWARE\Qingfeng\HeyboxAccis listed but not selected..heyboxacc.conf, the two log files, the emptied program folder and the emptyQingfengStart Menu folder are not listed. Check them after the uninstall and remove them yourself.
What this test covered
Tested on September 26, 2026 with Heybox Accelerator 1.1.92 installed through winget, machine scope, and removed with its own uninstaller window, clicked through on its default path. Both listed data rows were ticked and removed in this test. Not verified: a signed-in account, or acceleration of a running game.
