How to uninstall Flydigi Space Station on Windows
Flydigi Space Station is the companion app for Flydigi controllers. If you set up button mappings, macros or per-game profiles in it, note them or make sure they are saved to the controller or your Flydigi account before you remove the app, since its local data folder went with the uninstall in this test. This guide covers Flydigi Space Station installed machine-wide from the Flydigi.FlydigiSpaceStation winget package, which puts it in %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Flydigi Space Station.
Quit Flydigi Space Station first
Close the app window and exit it from the tray if it sits there, then check Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) for any process whose name starts with Flydigi. It runs several processes and added no startup entry in this test.
Remove the app with its own uninstaller
Go to Settings › Apps › Installed apps, find Flydigi Space Station, and choose Uninstall, or run:
winget uninstall --id Flydigi.FlydigiSpaceStation
Windows asks for administrator access, since the app is installed for all users.
Where the data lives
| Location | What it holds | What to do |
|---|---|---|
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Flydigi Space Station |
Program files | The uninstaller removes it |
%APPDATA%\Flydigi Space Station |
Local app data, settings and web caches | The uninstaller removed it in this test |
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\dotnet and the Microsoft .NET runtime entries in Installed apps |
A shared .NET runtime the installer added | Not Flydigi's; other apps may use it, so leave it alone |
Check the result
Run these read-only commands after the uninstall finishes:
Get-Process | Where-Object { $_.Path -like "*Flydigi*" }
winget list --id Flydigi.FlydigiSpaceStation
Test-Path "${env:ProgramFiles(x86)}\Flydigi Space Station"
Test-Path "$env:APPDATA\Flydigi Space Station"
- If the first command succeeds without suppressed errors, no output means nothing is running from a Flydigi folder.
- A completed
winget listquery with no match means the package record is gone; a matching row means the uninstall did not finish. - The first
Test-PathreturningFalsemeans the program folder is gone. Test-Path "$env:APPDATA\Flydigi Space Station"returningFalsemeans the local data is gone;Truemeans it is still there.
If you installed it with winget
winget uninstall runs the same uninstaller Settings › Apps uses, with the same result; it leaves the shared .NET runtime installed.
Account
Uninstalling does not delete your Flydigi account or anything stored with it.
What Mole lists
For Flydigi Space Station installed machine-wide from winget:
- The program folder goes with the app row, together with a row grouping Windows' own records of when you opened the program, selected by default.
%APPDATA%\Flydigi Space Stationis listed but not selected. The caches inside it (Cache,Code Cache,Crashpad,DawnGraphiteCache,DawnWebGPUCache,GPUCacheandlogs) are listed on their own and selected.- The Start Menu shortcut for all users is selected by default.
- The shared .NET runtime and Flydigi's keys under
HKLMare not listed.
What this test covered
Tested on 2026-09-28 with Flydigi Space Station 4.2.2.3 installed through winget, machine scope, on an ARM64 virtual machine, with no controller connected. Its Inno Setup uninstaller ran silently and removed the data folder itself. Every listed row was ticked and removed in this test. Not verified: a connected controller, saved mappings and a signed-in account.
