How to uninstall EasyEDA Pro on Windows
EasyEDA Pro (嘉立创EDA 专业版) projects you saved to the cloud stay with your account, and projects you saved locally stay in the folders you chose; removing the desktop client touches neither. Before you uninstall, make sure every open project is saved, and export or save locally anything that only exists in the client's offline workspace. This guide covers EasyEDA Pro installed machine-wide with the official installer, the one the JLC.LCEDA.Pro winget package uses.
Quit EasyEDA Pro first
Save your projects and close the window. The client runs several lceda-pro.exe processes; check Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) that none is still listed before you uninstall. It adds no startup entry.
Remove the app with its own uninstaller
Go to Settings › Apps › Installed apps, find 嘉立创EDA(专业版), and choose Uninstall, or run:
winget uninstall --id JLC.LCEDA.Pro
A machine-wide install asks for administrator access.
Where the data lives
| Location | What it holds | What to do |
|---|---|---|
%ProgramFiles%\lceda-pro |
The program | Removed by the uninstaller |
Start Menu 嘉立创EDA(专业版) folder (all users) and the public Desktop shortcut |
Shortcuts | Removed by the uninstaller |
%LOCALAPPDATA%\LCEDA-Pro |
The client's local browser-engine profile (local storage, session and network state, caches) and empty cache.model and updater folders |
Stays after the uninstall; remove it once your projects are safe |
In this test on an ARM64 PC the profile sat in %LOCALAPPDATA%\LCEDA-Pro\cache.arm64.3; the folder name can differ on other PCs and versions.
Check the result
Run these read-only commands after the uninstall finishes:
Get-Process lceda-pro -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
winget list --id JLC.LCEDA.Pro
Test-Path "$env:ProgramFiles\lceda-pro"
Test-Path "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\LCEDA-Pro"
- No output from
Get-Processonly means this query observed no matching process; a suppressed error leaves the running state unknown. - A completed
winget listquery with no match means the package record is gone; a matching row means the uninstall did not finish. - The first
Test-PathreturningFalsemeans the program folder is gone;Truemeans files remain there. - The second returning
Truemeans the client's local profile is still there, which is expected after the uninstall.
If you installed it with winget
winget uninstall runs the same Inno Setup uninstaller Settings › Apps uses and removes the same program files; it does not touch %LOCALAPPDATA%\LCEDA-Pro.
Account
Uninstalling does not sign you out of your EasyEDA account or delete any cloud project, and orders placed through it are not affected.
What Mole lists
For EasyEDA Pro installed machine-wide:
- The program folder goes with the app row. The Start Menu folder, the public Desktop shortcut and a row grouping Windows' own records of when you opened the program are selected by default.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\LCEDA-Prois listed as personal data, unchecked and excluded from bulk selection; preserve your offline workspace before selecting it.
What this test covered
Tested on September 27, 2026 with EasyEDA Pro 3.2.149, the ARM64 Inno Setup installer from the winget manifest, machine scope. Its uninstaller ran silently and removed the program folder and both shortcuts before Mole's own step ran. Every listed row was ticked and removed in this test. Not verified: a signed-in account, cloud projects and the offline workspace.
On 2026-10-04, the added residue rules were checked with controlled files in the Windows VM using the current source: exact ownership, another installed copy and source-path absence after recycling. This did not repeat the vendor uninstall or verify a released package.
