How to uninstall Deskflow on Windows

This guide covers the official Deskflow 1.27.0 ARM64 machine MSI installer.

Back up settings first

Back up %LOCALAPPDATA%\State\Deskflow.state and your Deskflow configuration before removing them. Device connections and restoration were not tested.

Uninstall the app

Quit Deskflow, then uninstall it from Windows Settings. The measured program directory was C:\Program Files\Deskflow.

Check the result

All four paths independently returned False. A query error does not prove absence.

What Mole lists

Program, shortcuts and usage records are selected by default. ProgramData, roaming settings, the user key and the exact state file are unchecked Review rows; the shared State folder is never offered.

What this test covered

Tested on October 7, 2026, in a Windows 11 ARM64 VM with a source-built Mole. Seven outcomes were four Removed and three Missing. The exact registration, six unique paths, program, user/SYSTEM processes and service query confirmed removal. The first unconfigured main window, native icon, size, Status, Startup and review defaults were observed. A complete provider check offered no Deskflow update, which proves neither latest version nor a successful upgrade. No device mode, firewall approval, automatic update, external uninstall, restoration or released-package verification was performed.
