How to uninstall Bililive Recorder on Windows
This check installed Bililive Recorder 2.20.0 from the official website in a Windows 11 VM, opened it to the first recording directory prompt, then removed it with Mole. No recording directory was chosen, and no stream was recorded.
Remove Bililive Recorder
Select 录播姬 in Mole's Apps tab. The review showed four rows selected by default: the application folder, desktop shortcut, Start menu folder, and usage record. It did not list a recording directory. Mole ran the registered Squirrel uninstaller once with --uninstall -s and returned Removed. Three rows were Removed; the desktop shortcut was already Missing.
Check the result
Test-Path "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\BililiveRecorder"
Test-Path 'HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\BililiveRecorder'
Test-Path 'C:\Mac\Home\Desktop\mikufans录播姬.lnk'
Test-Path "$env:APPDATA\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Genteure"
$all = @(Get-CimInstance Win32_Process -ErrorAction Stop)
@($all | Where-Object Name -eq 'BililiveRecorder.WPF.exe').Count
The four paths returned False and the process count was 0 in this VM. Its 42 pre-install uninstall registration IDs matched the 42 after removal. The generic Local\SquirrelClowdTemp directory and its Squirrel.log remained. They were left alone because the path is shared in shape by Squirrel installers, even though this log mentions Bililive Recorder.
What Mole lists
The program, desktop and Start menu shortcuts, and usage records are selected by default. No recording directory was chosen in this test, so it does not establish retention of real recordings.
What this test covered
Tested on October 5, 2026, in a Windows 11 ARM64 VM with a Mole development build, covering first launch and uninstall. Live recording or recording files, other installation channels and the released download were not verified. Automatic detection after an external uninstall was not verified.
