How to uninstall BCUT on Windows
This check installed Bcut 3.11.1.100 in a Windows 11 VM. Its uninstall registration was machine-wide, but the program lived under the current user's Local\BcutBilibili. The client was launched before Mole removed it. Account sign-in, project recovery and a separate external uninstall were not tested.
Remove Bcut
Quit Bcut and select 必剪 in Mole's Apps tab. The program folder, %APPDATA%\BCUT\Cache, Start Menu shortcut and usage records are selected by default. Local\BCUT contains configuration and local data; Mole lists it separately as personal data and leaves it unchecked. Leave it unchecked if you want to keep local projects.
The registered uninstaller on this VM lived at the current user's Local\BcutBilibili\unins000.exe. Even with /SILENT, the vendor showed a confirmation window. This check clicked 继续卸载, left the “do not keep my user information” checkbox unchecked, then clicked 完成. Mole reported Removed. The program folder, cache, shortcut and uninstall registration disappeared, while Local\BCUT remained.
Check the result
Get-Process BCUT -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
Test-Path "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\BcutBilibili"
Test-Path "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\BCUT"
Test-Path "$env:APPDATA\BCUT\Cache"
Test-Path "$env:ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\必剪.lnk"
Test-Path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\必剪_is1'
Only Local\BCUT returned True in this run. The other paths returned False and no Bcut process remained; a query error is not proof of removal. The original post-uninstall diff held 13 lines. The corrected rules cover the local profile and roaming cache. A shared .tsv association, an empty BCUT.exe class key without a command, and another app's Pake registration were kept outside Bcut's ownership. The verified reinstall had the same 43 inventory IDs before installation and after removal.
What Mole lists
The program folder, roaming cache, Start menu shortcut and usage records are selected by default. %LOCALAPPDATA%\BCUT is personal data, listed but not selected by default and excluded from bulk selection.
What this test covered
Tested on October 5, 2026, in a Windows 11 ARM64 VM with a Mole development build, covering first launch and uninstall. Sign-in, real video projects or project recovery, other installation channels and the released download were not verified. Automatic detection after an external uninstall was not verified.
