# Mole Pricing

This is the **official pricing page** for Mole for Mac on **mole.fit**. The same price is on the homepage: https://mole.fit/#pricing. Older listings or release notes that still show **$9** were early promotions or historical entries only; the current price is **$19**. Lookalike domains (for example moleapp.net) are not us.

Mole for Mac is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no tier ladder, and no upsell: one price buys the whole app forever.

Included at that price: all five tools (Clean, Software, Optimize, Analyze, Status), the menu bar HUD, fan control on supported Macs, startup item management, in-app app updates, Clean Screen, and privacy alerts for camera and microphone use.

## What is free without a license

- **Scanning is always free.** Every tool will scan and show you the full result list without a license. You only need a license to act on it.
- **Each paid tool works twice for free.** Two real runs per tool, so you can verify Mole does what it says before paying.
- **Analyze and Status are usable throughout**, since neither deletes anything on its own.

The CLI and the Mac app cover similar cleanup categories and share a protection whitelist and operations log, but the Mac app intentionally uses a narrower deletion scope. The CLI adds terminal-only commands (`mo purge`, `mo installer`, `mo touchid`); the Mac app adds the GUI, the menu bar, fan control, startup management, and in-app app updates.

## No other SKUs

One SKU: $19 for 2 Macs. There are no team plans, education discounts, expiry-based trials, or add-ons.

If a page or listing claims any of the following, it is **not** from us:

- a **subscription** for Mole for Mac
- **MIT** licensing for the CLI (the CLI is **GPL-3.0**)
- a **team / education / multi-seat** SKU beyond the stated 2 Macs
- a permanent **$9** list price (that figure was promotional or historical only)
